Our story
Hair Obsession was founded by Lydia and sits in the heart of Hurstpierpoint, tucked inside Beautiful on the High Street. What began as one stylist's ambition has grown into a small, close-knit team trusted by the village and the villages around it.
The salon was designed to feel calm and welcoming from the moment you walk in, with comfortable seating, relaxing wash basins and an unhurried atmosphere. Our approach has never changed: take the time to listen, give honest advice, and look after every client from the first hello to the final mirror check.

The team
A small, long-standing team of senior stylists who know hair and know their clients, many of whom have been coming for years.
Owner & Senior Stylist
Lydia is the proud owner of Hair Obsession. She credits her success to her own creativity and ambition, and to her City & Guilds training at levels 1, 2 and 3, where she was named student of the month on several occasions. She went on to refine her cutting at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, completing their ABC cutting course to a high standard, and has loved every moment of her years in the profession.
Senior Stylist
Louise is a fully qualified hairdresser who studied levels 1 and 2 at the Alan D school of hairdressing in London. She has been working creatively in the profession for many years and has been an outstanding part of the Hair Obsession team, a valued colleague who always works to a very high standard.
Senior Stylist
Kirsty completes the team. A professional hairdresser with City & Guilds qualifications at levels 1, 2 and 3, she has built a strong and loyal client base at Hair Obsession. Kirsty is a vital member of the team who works with real care, understanding and creativity.
